Travel to Tanzania requires a valid visa prior to arrival for most international visitors. Many nationalities can obtain a Tanzania visa online through the official eVisa system.

How to Apply for Your Tanzania Visa
1. Submit Your Application Online
Apply directly through the official Tanzania Immigration eVisa portal linked above.
Create an account, complete the application form, upload required documents, and submit payment online.
2. Host / Physical Address Details
When completing the host section of your application, you may use:

(For Tanzania itineraries, use your confirmed lodge details)
If travelling with Oloi Shorua, your confirmed safari lodge or hotel booking serves as your host address.
3. Point of Entry
Select your correct entry point, such as:
- Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)
- Julius Nyerere International Airport, Dar es Salaam (DAR)
- Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, Zanzibar (ZNZ)
Choose the airport that matches your confirmed flight booking.
Documents Required for Tanzania Visa
Prepare the following before beginning your application:
Passport
- Valid for at least 6 months from date of arrival
- At least one blank visa page
Passport Photo
- Clear, recent passport-size photo
- Plain background
Flight Details
- Confirmed arrival and departure ticket
Accommodation Confirmation
- Hotel or lodge confirmation
- If travelling with Oloi Shorua, your confirmation voucher is sufficient
Tanzania Visa Fee
Visa fees vary depending on nationality.
Common examples:
- USD 50 (single entry for most nationalities)
- USD 100 (U.S. passport holders – multiple entry)
Payment is made online via credit or debit card during the application process.
After Submission
- Submit your application
- Processing typically takes several business days
- You will receive your approved eVisa via email
- Print a copy and carry it when travelling
- Present it on arrival in Tanzania
