Formerly known as Go Beyond Travels, Oloi Shorua OPC Private Limited was established in February 2009 as a division of The Mahalakshmi Glass Works Pvt. Ltd. Within our group, you’ll find Go Beyond Representations, specializing in travel marketing.

Our journey took a transformative turn as we rebranded into a standalone entity, separating from The Mahalakshmi Glass Works to focus on delivering exclusive experiences in Africa and beyond. The name ‘Oloi Shorua’ is derived from the Masai language, signifying ‘the one that takes from the universe and shares with the people.’

Behind this name lies a captivating tale. During his extensive travels in Africa, our director, Shantanu Chand, encountered the Masai Chief of the Maji Moto village. Recognizing Shantanu as one of their own due to his extensive African journeys, the chief bestowed upon him the Masai name ‘Oloi Shorua.’ This inspired the African touch and feel that defines our company.

Shantanu Chand, a dedicated wildlife enthusiast with extensive knowledge of African and Indian wildlife, has traversed five continents. His passion inspired the creation of a company specializing in extraordinary trips. Having explored Africa multiple times, he is well-versed with the lay of the land.
