Seychelles Entry Requirements and Travel Authorisation

Last checked 15 October 2026.

The Seychelles welcomes visitors of every nationality without a visa. Instead, every visitor needs an online Travel Authorisation before departure, and receives a free Visitor's Permit on arrival.

Travel Authorisation, for every visitor

  • Apply only through the official Seychelles Electronic Border System at seychelles.govtas.com or the Seychelles e-Border app, up to 30 days before travel.
  • Fee: from €10 for the standard service, with faster options at a higher fee.
  • You will need: your passport, a photo, your flight booking showing arrival and departure, and a confirmation for every place you are staying.
  • Each authorisation covers one journey and expires when you leave.

On arrival

You receive a free Visitor's Permit for up to three months. Have your return or onward ticket, accommodation confirmations and evidence of sufficient funds to hand.

Before you go

  • Yellow fever: a certificate is required if you arrive from, or have transited through, a country with risk of yellow fever. This matters for a beach stay after a safari in Kenya or Uganda.
  • Unofficial websites: several look-alike sites charge far more for the same authorisation. Use only the official site above.

For yellow fever, tipping and everything else to arrange before you travel, see Before You Travel. Every Oloi Shorua journey includes a check of the entry requirements for your passport and route. If you are planning a journey, we would be pleased to begin with a conversation.

Visa decisions rest with each government, and rules can change at short notice. Please confirm with the official source before you travel.
