Location and Landscape
In its northern position, the camp sits within reach of the Mara River crossings during the dry season migration months. In its southern position, by contrast, it moves toward the Ndutu area for the calving season. During this window, the southern plains fill with newborn wildebeest and the predator activity that follows them.
Accommodation
The camp’s tents combine inviting lounge and dining areas with well-appointed sleeping tents. Despite the camp’s seasonal relocation, the design genuinely feels homely. Evenings, finally, pass by firelight, sharing the day’s sightings beneath an unobstructed view of the night sky.
Safari Experience
Game drives track the migration according to the camp’s current position. Guides here, in fact, have real experience reading the herds’ movement, positioning vehicles accordingly. When to Visit
Timing depends on which phase of the migration a traveller wants to witness. The northern position suits the dry-season river crossings, while the southern position, instead, suits the December to March calving season.
