Wilderness Mara Villas, formerly Governors’ Private Camp, is an exclusive-use property set along a secluded bend of the Mara River in the Masai Mara, where elephants frequently cross. It is run by Wilderness and is due to open in late 2026.
The house
Wilderness describes it as a place for travellers who value solitude, space and tailored safari experiences, and it is sold for exclusive use, so your party has the property to itself. The number of bedrooms, the capacity, the staff and the vehicle arrangements have not yet been published, and we will add them here as soon as Wilderness confirms them.
