When to Visit Ruaha
The dry season between June and October concentrates wildlife along the remaining water sources and offers the clearest game viewing. The wetter months bring lush, green landscapes and a markedly quieter park, though some camps reduce activity or close.

Because Ruaha sits far from Arusha, reaching the park requires a flight south, generally connecting through Dar es Salaam. Several nights are recommended to make the most of the additional travel time involved, and Ruaha pairs naturally with Nyerere as a dedicated southern Tanzania circuit.
